漢字で書くと「忘我」。何か作っているとふと我を忘れて没頭している時がある。そういうものを作りたかった。古くから産地で使われてきた青白釉は、溜まった部分に青みをますペールブルーのグラデーションが特徴。機能性にも考慮し光を透過するほどの薄さながら使いやすい厚みを残したり、ポットの液漏れを最小限にしています。普段にも来客にも使える顔を持つ食器のシリーズ。

Boga is written in Chinese characters as “忘我”. It means forgetting oneself when one is making something eagerly. This way of thinking is from “Zen”. Without insisting oneself, just work for others’ benefit. We would like to serve for people’s happy life with our products. In addition, we aim to save the Japanese traditional industry and natural brilliant materials. We tend to forget what we have and its worth. We would like to show how wonderful materials are, and support the craftsmen who have excellent hands. That is one of our missions.
